Abstract Submission Guidelines
Before starting your submission, please ensure that your abstract meets the following requirements.
Title
- The abstract title should be clear and concise.
- Maximum length: 20 words (or 150 characters, including spaces).
Abstract Structure
The required abstract structure depends on the type of submission selected in the submission system. Please prepare your abstract according to the relevant structure below.
Scientific Abstracts
(Oral presentations, posters, and e-posters)
Maximum length: 300 words
Required sections:
- Introduction
- Method
- Results
- Conclusions
Educational / Innovative Practice Abstracts
(Oral presentations, posters, and e-posters)
Maximum length: 300 words
Required sections:
- Setting
- Target group
- Description of the innovative practice or project
- Evaluation
- Next Steps
- Lessons learned
Workshop Proposals
Maximum length: 400 words
Required sections:
- Introduction
- Aim(s)
- Programme
- (Including an overview of all presentations, presenters, and timing)
The word count excludes the title, authors, affiliations, and keywords.
Keywords
Please provide 3–5 keywords to describe the main themes of your work.
Authors and Affiliations
- There is no limit to the number of authors permitted per abstract. However the system may not display all the authors in some presentation formats.
- Each author must have an affiliation listed.
- One author must be identified as the corresponding author.
Review and Scoring Criteria
All abstracts are reviewed anonymously and scored on a 0–10 scale for each of the following criteria:

Relevance
Is the abstract relevant to the conference theme and/or session theme?
(0 = Not relevant, 10 = Highly relevant)

Clarity of Aim and Objectives
Are the aim, purpose, or learning objectives clearly stated?

Design and Methodology
Is the design and/or scientific method appropriate for the stated aims?

Applicability and Impact
Are the results likely to be implemented into clinical practice, education, training, and/or future research?

Consistency and Conclusions
Are the conclusions based on the results and consistent with the stated aims or purpose?

Innovation and/or Solution Focus
Is the work innovative in relation to the above criteria and/or clearly solution-focused?
Presentation Format
Abstracts may be accepted for oral, workshop or poster presentation. The Scientific Committee reserves the right to determine the final presentation format.
